The Faculty of Graduate Studies awarded the researcher Ahmad Sabrah a Master’s Degree in Planning & Political Development in response to his thesis entitled “The role of the Euro-Palestinian Partnership in planning and developing the work of the police”.
This study aimed at identifying the role of the Euro-Palestinian Partnership in planning and developing the work of the Palestinian Police; as the main question of the study was as following: What is the role of the Euro-Palestinian Partnership in planning and developing the work of the Palestinian Police under the political and security challenges facing them under the Israeli occupation of Palestine ?
The community of study consists of the worker employees in the police who received trainings from the European Police from the beginning of 2006 until the end of 2016, their number is about 3000 policemen from various northern provinces. The researcher chose a random sample of 430 employees in the police, benefit from these training from the southern West Bank provinces. In addition to the sample method, the researcher used the personal interview and the questionnaire as a tool of study as well as the descriptive, the analytical and the statistical approach in this study.
The committee consisted of: Dr. Othman Othman as a main supervisor and Chairman, Dr. Abdelatif Rabaya as an external examiner and Dr. Ibrahim Abu Jaber as an internal examiner.
At the end of the session, the committee approved the success of the researcher and recommended him a Master’s degree.
