The Faculty of Graduate Studies awarded the researcher Amal Ateeq a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Teaching Methods in response to her thesis entitled “Evaluation of Arabic Language Textbooks for Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum from the Points of View of Teachers”.
This study aimed to evaluate the Arabic Language Textbooks for Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum from the Points of View of Teachers through answering the main following question:
What level of evaluation the  Arabic Language Textbooks for Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum from the Points of View of Teachers?
 To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the analytical descriptive methodology and prepared a questionnaire, distributed to the teachers of Arabic Language for grade 1 to 4.
The researcher designed the questionnaire of forty two items that divided into seven domain ; technical output, content, educational output, means, activities and methods, evaluation, curriculum view, and the Specialty of Arabic language. The questionnaire examined and verified by Cronbach’s alpha measured for the whole questionnaire to examined the internal consistency and it was (0.89).
The study population consisted from all the teachers  for evaluate the Arabic Language Textbooks for Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum in the academic year 2016/2017, in total; they were (277) teachers from both sexes. The study sample was all teachers for the Arabic Language Textbooks for Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum who authentically fill the questionnaire after the researcher distributed the questionnaire for the study population. The study sample reached (150), representing (54%) of the study population. 
After conducting Statistical analysis, the study results appeared as follows:
The average score of the teachers for the Arabic language Textbooks for Low basic stage according to modified curriculum grade came at an average of (3.66) and a deviation of (.37).
This indicates a high degree of evaluation, The curriculum view field at the highest average (3.84), followed by The privacy of Arabic language at an average of (3.80), Then The Evaluation Area (3.74), Followed by the area of Educational output (3.71), Then the field of means, activities and methods (3.68),followed by technical output (3.58), Finally the field of content received the lowest mean of the domains (3.27).
There were statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05), in the level of teachers’ evaluation of the Arabic curriculum for the Low Basic Stage According to Modified Curriculum due to gender variable, for male. 
There were no statistically significant differences due to age variable, specialization, number of year experience and the number of training courses attended. 
the researcher recommended some recommendations: the need to involve teachers in the preparation and development of curriculum , and making more studies related to the evaluation of textbooks.
The committee consisted of: Dr. Ali Habayeb as a main supervisor and Chairman, Dr. Naseem Bani Odeh as an external examiner and Dr. Suheil Salha as an internal examiner.
At the end of the session, the committee approved the success of the researcher and recommended her a Master’s degree.
