The Faculty of Graduate Studies awarded the researcher Baker Jetan a Master’s Degree in Arabic Language & Literature in response to his thesis entitled “The Phonological Style in Surat Al An'am”.
This research is a linguistic study that deals with the most eloquence text of all times, the holy Quran. The research deals with the first structure of the Qur'anic text, which are the sounds that are connected to each other to compose words, sentences from words and texts from sentences. Through sounds we delve to the aesthetics of texts.  The voices with their discriminatory features represented in their essence, whispering, friction, explosion, Amplifying, softening, siren, and sang, could reflect the semantic reality of the text, and its impact on the same recipient.
This research, which derived its origins from phonetics, came to deal with the voice aspect in the Holy Quran, represented by Surat Al An'am, therefore the title of this research was chosen to be: "Stylistic voice in Surat Al An'am ". the researcher relied on several approaches, including: Descriptive approach, statistical approach, and analytical approach the historical and descriptive approach. The research is divided into two parts, theoretical section, which tracks the Stylistic phonology in terms of the concept of Arabs, the West, and the foundations of their study, linguistic levels of literary text, especially the vocal level, and an applied section based on the analysis of Surat Al An'am, and then study vocal passages, and The Qur'anic comma in Surat Al-An'am, and the phoneme.
This research is composed of an introduction, a Preface at the beginning of the second chapter, and three chapters, as follows:
- Chapter I: Addresses the concept of stylistic phonology for Arabs and the West, the linguistic levels of literary texts, and the acoustic of stylistic phonology.
- Chapter II: The widest chapter of the study, contains a preface, talking about Surat Al-An'am, the reason for the selection, and the most important ideas included in Surat Al-An'am, in addition to statistical tables of the constituent voices of Surat Al-An'am. After the introduction, the significance of these sounds and their discriminatory features were discussed in Surah Al-An'am.
- Chapter III: Talks about the syllables, and its significance in Surat Al-An'am, the phoneme, and its impact on the delivery of significance, the Quranic comma, and its impact on the recipient.
Finally: the conclusion of the research, which contained the most prominent results, and the observations reached by the researcher.
The committee consisted of: Prof. Mohammed Jawad Al-Nouri as a main supervisor and Chairman, Prof. Sadeq Dabbas as an external examiner and Dr. Odeh Abdullah as an internal examiner.
At the end of the session, the committee approved the success of the researcher and recommended him a Master’s degree.
