The Faculty of Graduate Studies awarded the researcher Ola Abu Beeh a Master’s Degree in Arabic Language & Literature in response to her thesis entitled “Novelist Structure in “Kilimanjaro Souls” By:  Ibrahim Nasrallah”.
This study is about " Kilimanjaro Souls " novel for the novelist Ibrahim Nasrallah. This novel stands on it's building in order to signify it's artistic and modern features which can be characterized through the deepest description behind words and events. Also, the messages that are directed to the readers can be recognized through the simplified pictures made by time ,place and characters.
This study consists of introduction, four sections and the conclusion. The introduction talks about it's importance and reasons of discussing it in order to answer the most important questions in the novel. The study also will include the most important and previous studies which talk about the novel to clarify their content and approach briefly.
On the other hand, the first section talks about the title an its relation to the novel's content. Then, the study will talk about the cover and it's significance to the title and the novel's text. It also refers to the dedication, introduction and subtitles in order to clarify how it can be the crossing gate and clue to the topic of the novel.
The second section is narrating the story events. It refers also to the narrator and the secretive vision of the novel. It also clarifies the types and techniques of narration. This section declares the used language in narration and dialogue referring to my poetic language and slang accents with criticized reasons.
Then, the third section talks about the main and second characters. It signifies their materialistic, psychological, social and intellectual dimensions and its relation to the real characters.
Finally, the forth paragraph refers to place and time, so it talks about closed and opened places and it's significance. It talks about the time of narrating the story referring to the important artistic techniques in forming time through using movements of time. In conclusion, the study refers to the suitable end which clarifies the important results that the research talks about.
The committee consisted of: Dr. Odwan Odwan as a main supervisor and Chairman, Dr. Yaseen Ketaneh as an external examiner and Dr. Nader Qasem as an internal examiner.
At the end of the session, the committee approved the success of the researcher and recommended her a Master’s degree.
